The Corn and Other Feed Grains Information Network (COFGIN) is reckoned to necessary for easy access to information vital to the corn, feedmilling, poultry, and swine industries. The COFGIN is envisioned to be a one-stop-shop of information about production, supply and utilization of corn, other feed crops and formulated feed rations for swine and poultry, which is catered to corn farmers and traders, animal feed millers and otjer clients of the Livestock Research Division. It provides other stakeholders access to updated data and information relevant to the feed grains, feedmilling and animal industries.

To date, abundant information is made available thru the net; however, it's accessibility to stakeholders is limited. The COFGIN will be developed to enhanced accessibility of relevant information to the various stakeholders of corn and other feed grains to thru the PCARRD web.

The information, data and facts contained in the COFGIN will be built in accordance with the needs of feed grain producers, feed millers and animal producers as indicated by these groups during the surveys and consultations that will be conducted.
