In the Cordillera, some of the most important vegetable crops grown are potato, cabbage, bell pepper, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and beans.  Organic vegetable production in CAR capitalizes on the potential technologies being utilized by the organic practitioners themselves.

Organic Arabica coffee production is a potential source of income and employment in the region being an agroforestry crop.  It enhances soil and water conservation and is a deterrent to forest denudation and forest fires.

The Cordillera Administrative Region has thirteen (13) major watersheds, hence considered as the "Watershed Cradle of the North."

Cutflower and ornamental crops is the second industry in Benguet which involved many stakeholders from the breeders to the growers, traders up to the consumers in the marketing chain.
